  • Chairperson Dr. Hyung-Ja Lee
  • First of all, we give praise to God for enabling us to found and operate Torch Trinity Graduate University, in cooperation with the distinguished Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, USA. We give all the glory to our heavenly Father.

Now that we are in the 21st century, which is also the second century of the Korean Church, I am convinced that the Korean Church, with its passion for missions, will be used by the Lord for world evangelization. At this point in time, in order for the Korean Church to carry out its mission, I believe that we must have discernment to evaluate accurately the present and future situations, and challenge ourselves with a vision and concrete plans conforming to God's expectations.

What our Lord desires is not the pride of an individual church's accomplishments or some denomination's expansion, but rather the humble dedication of all of His servants for the expansion of the Kingdom of God. Therefore, for the mission of the 21st century, we must overcome the barriers of individual churches and denominations. All churches, all denominations, and all Christians must join together to do missions. Through Torch Trinity, we believe that many missionaries of the gospel will arise to reach the 12,000 unreached people groups that make up two billion of the earth's population.

With united cooperation in missions, and in order to produce workers in the areas of theology, ministry, and mission, we are proud to present Torch Trinity Graduate University.
