My name is George Carlos Intuya. I was grown up in a Christian home as my parents are Christians. I am blessed to have Christian parents who raised me up and I believe it was part of God뭩 preparation for my calling. I came to know Christ when I was a child through a Sunday school teacher of Daily Vacation Bible School, a yearly Church project for kids during summer vacation. Through this simple event of accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior, the whole course of my life has been changed. Since I have no much choice after my high school, I decided to go to Seminary. God has been faithful to me and through scholarship from my uncle I was able to finish my Bachelor뭩 degree and Master of Divinity program. By the grace of God I felt the calling to go to Cambodia to minister among the Khmer people. Through my experience in Cambodia for four years, my eyes has been opened to the mission field and I was grateful for the privilege to serve God through mission. After Cambodia, I believe that by God뭩 grace another door was opened for me to continue my studies through the blessings of others and I am so thankful to God for this. After the mission contract in Cambodia ended, I didn뭪 know where to go so I applied to study at Torch Trinity last 2010. By God뭩 grace and through the sacrifices of many others, I was picked up for the TSMS program. Thank you very much for this privilege to pursue further studies.

My first semester at Torch Trinity Graduate school of Theology has been very blessed, meaningful and interesting. Now I뭢 stepping for the second semester and I expect a lot more than the first semester I believe this is a perfect place to be trained and be prepared for the calling to serve God and the people. I surely believe that this is a perfect place to grow up in all aspects of Christian life both spiritually and academically through many opportunities. There is a freedom to explore more about Christian life being shaped by a real community The international community at Torch Trinity has been very helpful for me to achieve creativity, and expand my network and understanding other cultures. Chapel worship has been very helpful and meaningful for me to feel and experience God뭩 amazing touch. Even in the midst of busy environment as everyone is busy for academic works, chapel time has provided a nourishing environment to worship God, be blessed and be encouraged. The faculty and staffs and excellent professors are great blessings from God. They toil and work hard for our education and I really appreciate it very much. Even though adjustment is a part of the program, the quality of education being provided can뭪 be compared with it. When I became a part of the school family, I realized that I뭭e found new meaning and in a new community that is respectable in academic and spiritual endeavor in Christ. I really enjoyed our class discussions with my fellow students and also with my professors. Our professors are very friendly and sometimes funny, I really appreciate this kind of environment. The learning facilities are very excellent too. The library has huge resources for research. There are more journals to read than I뭭e ever thought. With all of these I believe that God is using Torch to spread the love of God in Christ to the corners of the earth.
